Russia to abandon DRM (already?)
I know it isn't nice to gossip, but our astute colleague Kim Andrew Elliott spotted this article [available via translation technology] indicating that at very least MW DRM is on the chopping block in Russia. This is a bummer as not only was Russia touted by the Consortium as a country amidst DRM conversion, but it also means one less place needing new receivers. There are a significant number of commenters to the article that sound as if they support DRM for Russia.
