KTWR uses DRM for "filecasting" from Guam to Thailand

UPDATE 20160620 - Additional details here.

Big news from George Ross and KTWR, Trans World Radio's flagship shortwave station on Guam.

Here is their post about a revolutionary Guam to Thailand transmission of data using DRM. "In partnership with Albuquerque, New Mexico-based Faith Comes By Hearing (FCBH), which provided its media-rich Bible.is mobile app for the filecast."

I believe that this transmission was seen June 8th by Japanese DRM DXer Hiroyuki Okamura, as reported in the June 2016 DRM Newsletter.

What we have here is more DRM innovation! Shortwave is not dead and we are just now reaching the tip of the iceberg as to what DRM can do with it.

I will be sure to bother our friend George Ross (seen above in the checkered shirt) for more details on his latest DRM adventure!
